Base on the latest survey results done in Australia.

As a result, the profile of people at age 65 is :

1 % Wealthy : Live in happily
7 % Financial Independent : Financial freedom
10% Bankrupt : Face on a lot of financial TROUBLE
16% Working : It is not how much you can EARN caused of age goes UP.
28% Death : Heaven or Hell??
38% Depends on others : OLD age in Miserable !!!

That is Australia! What about Malaysia?

Regardless the 28% of the "Heaven & Hell" option.

16% of people are still working! Working life in Australia is far more easier than in Malaysia! Why? Inflasion! They earn AUS$1500 per month, they spend about 50 bucks for food & grocery a week! In Malaysia if you are earning RM1500, how much you got to spend for food? Sigh~

38% of the Australian depend on others, they are lucky that thier government subsidary most of their cos of living like medical bills..etc. Of course they pay a higher income tax when they are young... But in Malaysia? Who shall we depend? Definately not government if you are not a "native". On our children? EPF? 80% of Malaysian see their EPF DIED before them!

It's time to think how you want your life in age of 65! Since the government haven't force us to pay more and promise to take care of us, why not we create more retirement fund for ourself?
